Recap: "Feminismus und KI" at the Deutsches Museum Bonn
On May 12, 2026, the event "Feminismus und KI" ("Feminism and AI") took place in German at the Deutsches Museum Bonn as part of the museum series »KI:Perspektiven« (»AI: Perspectives«) in cooperation with the Center for Science and Thought at the University of Bonn and the Feminist AI Network.
The event was already sold out well in advance, underscoring the public’s keen interest in exploring the connections between feminism and AI, as well as the social responsibility.
The first presentation was given by Prof. Dr. Toni Loh (Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences) and was titled "Was ist feministische Technikphilosophie und warum brauchen wir das?" ("What Is Feminist Philosophy of Technology, and Why Do We Need It?"). Following that, Dr. Eva Maria Hille (University of Bonn) then spoke on "All about Bias? Feministische KI-Ethik im Gesundheitsbereich" ("All About Bias? Feminist AI Ethics in Healthcare").
With a packed hall, the event was very well attended and also provided a solid foundation for the discussion with the audience.
