Welcome to the Feminist AI - Network!
We connect female* students, scientists at all career levels as well as employees from technology and administration who research and work in various disciplines on artificial intelligence (AI) at the University of Bonn.
Our goal is to bring women* at the University of Bonn together, increase their visibility and engage in a critical exchange about AI. As a female* network, “Feminist AI” supports the interdisciplinary dialog on artificial intelligence and contributes to the strengthening of female* researchers at the University of Bonn.
The network is supported by the Equal Opportunities Office of the University of Bonn with funds from the Fund for the Promotion of the Structural Anchoring of Gender Equality.

During the semester, we organize monthly lunches together.
These gatherings provide an open space to share experiences, exchange perspectives, discuss challenges in academia and strengthen connections in a lively atmosphere.

Researchers Directory
Our database presents women* researchers in AI at the University of Bonn.
It makes expertise visible and supports the search for speakers, collaborators or media contacts. The directory addresses the underrepresentation of women* in AI-related research and teaching and encourages exchange across disciplines and career levels.
Critical Debate
We integrate feminist, intersectional and decolonial approaches into research and practice on AI.
Workshops
In workshops and discussions, we explore feminist, intersectional and decolonial perspectives on AI.
Formats include lectures, lively debates and “speed networking” sessions that spark dialogue, inspire the exchange of ideas and open pathways for collaboration across disciplines and career stages.
